Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 22 September 2026

Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern the services offered by Taj India Voyages (“we”, “us”, “our”), an inbound tour operator based in Agra, India. By enquiring about, booking or travelling on a tour with us, you (“the traveller”, “you”) agree to these terms. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.

Enquiries and Quotations

An enquiry or quotation is not a confirmed booking. Itineraries, prices and availability we share by email or WhatsApp are indicative until a booking is confirmed as set out below.

Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only once we have received your written agreement to the final itinerary and price, and the agreed advance payment. We will confirm your booking in writing, by email or WhatsApp, once both are received.

Payments

Payment terms, including the advance amount and the balance due date, will be communicated to you in writing at the time of booking and may vary by tour, season and the services included (such as hotels, permits and internal flights). Please make payments only through the methods we specify in writing. We do not take payments through this website.

Cancellations and Refunds

If you need to cancel or postpone a confirmed booking, please notify us in writing as early as possible. Cancellation charges, if any, depend on how much notice is given and on the cancellation policies of the hotels, transport and other suppliers involved in your itinerary, some of which may be non-refundable closer to the travel date. We will confirm the applicable charges for your specific booking in writing before you cancel, so you can make an informed decision.

Changes to Your Itinerary

We may need to amend an itinerary because of weather, monument closures, government restrictions, safety concerns or circumstances beyond our control. Where possible, we will offer a comparable alternative. You may also request changes to a confirmed itinerary, which we will accommodate where feasible; additional costs, if any, will be communicated before we proceed.

Traveller Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Holding a valid passport, and any visa, permits or vaccinations required for your trip
  • Arriving at meeting points and for transfers on time
  • Informing us in advance of any medical conditions, dietary needs, mobility requirements or the ages of children travelling, so we can plan appropriately
  • Behaving in a way that does not endanger yourself, other travellers, our staff or guides, or local communities

We reserve the right to end a tour early for any traveller whose conduct puts safety at risk, without a refund for the unused portion.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellation, delay, and loss of baggage or personal belongings, valid for the full duration of your trip in India.

Our Liability

We take reasonable care in selecting hotels, transport, guides and other suppliers. However, many services on your trip (such as hotels, airlines, monument authorities and wildlife parks) are provided by independent third parties and are subject to their own terms and conditions. We are not liable for loss, injury, delay or damage caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, or by the acts or omissions of independent suppliers, except where required by applicable law.

Force Majeure

We are not responsible for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where this is caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, epidemics, strikes, government action, civil unrest or similar events. Where such an event affects your trip, we will work with you in good faith on suitable alternatives or refunds, taking into account the terms of our suppliers.

Passports, Visas and Health

It is your responsibility to hold a valid passport and to obtain the correct visa for India, along with any vaccinations or health precautions recommended for your trip. We are happy to guide you on the general requirements, but the final responsibility for documentation and health preparation rests with you.

Photographs and Feedback

We may ask for your permission to use photographs from your trip, or a review or testimonial you share with us, on our website or social media. We will only do so with your consent, and you may withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us.

Use of This Website

This website and its content are provided for general information about our services. We try to keep the information accurate and up to date, but tour details, prices and images are subject to change. Please confirm current details with us directly before booking.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute arising from them will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Agra, Uttar Pradesh, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed. For a confirmed booking, the terms in force at the time of booking will apply, unless a change is required by law.
